Abstract

Purpose: The study aims to explore the impact of adopting social responsibility standards, according to ISO 26000, on achieving the goals of the purple economy in Algérie Telecom. Methodology: The study employed a mixed approach, combining the descriptive and the analytical ones. Data was collected through various academic literature review and questionnaires distributed to the sample which consists of 35 employees of Algérie Telecom. The collected data was, then, analyzed using SPSS program to draw meaningful conclusions. Results: The study found a statistically significant relationship between social responsibility, as peer ISO 26000, and achieving the goals of the purple economy. This suggests that companies that prioritize social responsibility are more likely to benefit from the advantages of the purple economy. There were no statistically significant differences in responses based on gender, age or educational level. Practical Implications: The findings suggest that the company, in order to can prosper, should focus on social responsibility dimensions, raise employee awareness about the importance of social responsibility and the purple economy, conduct training courses, and integrate ISO 26000 Social Responsibility into daily practices.
