Through this article we will try to answer the following problem: What is the economic, cultural and social importance of traditional and artistic industries? To answer the problem, we presented the basic concepts of traditional and artistic industries, addressing the difference between their concept and the concept of handicrafts, while showing the economic, cultural and social importance of traditional and artistic industries, where we addressed two axes: The first axis: The conceptual framework of handicrafts and traditional and artistic industries. The second axis: The importance of traditional and artistic industries on the cultural, social and economic level.
