In recent decades, industrial production has undergone significant transformations amid growing environmental challenges. These changes have driven governments and corporations to prioritize sustainability by conserving resources and reducing pollution and waste. Within this context, the study aims to explore the concept of Lean Production as a strategic approach to improving efficiency and minimizing waste—helping organizations meet shifting market demands while mitigating environmental impact. The study concludes that applying lean production principles significantly contributes to the sustainability of supply chains by reducing resource consumption and lowering environmental emissions. The findings reveal that organizations adopting these principles are able to strike a balance between economic efficiency and environmental performance. By enhancing process flow and managing inventory effectively, companies can cut costs and reduce environmental impact, thereby improving their long-term sustainability in the market.
