Value-based healthcare financing represents a significant shift in healthcare systems, focusing on achieving the best health outcomes relative to the costs incurred, rather than the traditional volume-based service model. This approach aims to enhance the efficiency of healthcare resource utilization while improving the quality of care provided to patients. Given the continuous rise in healthcare costs, there is an urgent need for innovative solutions to address the financial challenges facing healthcare systems. Value-based financing offers an effective framework to balance cost reduction with quality improvement, making it a strategic tool for achieving sustainability in healthcare systems.
