Abstract

This research paper aims to highlight the prospects of dealing with encrypted digital currencies, taking Bitcoin as a model, as encrypted digital currencies have become a controversial issue in economic, legal and political circles due to many risks surrounding their use and trading operations. In addition to the lack of legal and economic studies that have addressed them, there is no official responsible for issuing these currencies and regulating their trading, fir their more they can be exposed to hacking, in addition to the possibility of using them in illegal and illegitimate transactions such as financing terrorism, human trafficking and money laundering.
