The role of banking governance in promoting financial inclusion

The study aims to clarify how banking governance contributes to enhancing financial inclusion by examining the conceptual and theoretical framework of banking governance and financial inclusion. Then extract the mechanisms and tools through which banking governance supports the advancement of financial inclusion. The study found that banking governance contributes to enhancing financial inclusion through: improving trust in the banking system, protecting customer rights, encouraging financial innovation, improving operational efficiency, promoting sustainable financing, reducing financial risks, and improve the regulatory environment.
