Muslim Women Educational Status in India: Past and Present Era

Women make up about half the world's population. Muslim women are the backbone of our modern society. Education is a real way to help Muslim women get out of their economic misery. The educational history of Muslim women in India can be traced back to the Islamic era, the British era and the post-independence era. In the Mughal era, women of the noble family were educated. While in the British era the whole Muslim community especially women were lagging behind academically. After independence, Muslim women made great strides in education.
